Jahnavi completed her MS in Health Informatics at IUPUI in Dec 2021. She has a Doctor of Pharmacy (Post Baccalaureate) degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India. After completion of PharmD, she worked as a Physician Assistant at a hospital for a period of 16 months before moving to Health Informatics. She has developed deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Her research at PLHI has primarily focused on cybersecurity issues in EHR systems and has performed user evaluation of EHR systems in terms of usability and security. She conducted a user evaluation at Eskenazi hospital, a safety-net hospital in Indianapolis, on the LibreHealth cost-of-care app, which provides pricing information from hospital chargemasters.
