Bhawana Yadav

Bhawna has 10 years of public health experience in Health Informatics, system development, implementation and deployment, M-Health projects, Human Resource Information systems, Web Development, ERP Implementation and working on open source technologies. She has worked in various health communication and mobilization programmes, including maternal and child health, family planning, nutrition, Routine immunization and Polio.

Previously, she was working with CCC-I as technical lead for SMNet project funded by UNICEF which includes innovative ICT strategy to be implemented to build interpersonal communication (IPC) and client counseling skills of Community Mobilization Coordinators (CMCs).

Currently, she is pursuing an MS in Health Informatics (First Semester). She is also working at Purkayastha Lab for Health Innovation. She has supported ICT based projects, including projects to strengthen Human resource in Health for State Health Society Bihar, Department of health Bihar and Ministry of Health and family welfare and on mHealth app Msakhi for FLWs on maternal and child health implemented in
Jhansi District, UP, India. Bhawna started her work in HMIS with National health systems resource Centre (NHSRC). She has extensively worked on Synthesizing a wide range of opinions and inputs into a unified way forward that external stakeholders will support and that provides sufficient clarity internally to prioritize and act, funneling the right information to the right people.
