Ramachandrarao Barma has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from India and is currently pursuing Masters in Health Informatics at IUPUI. His research interests include Clinical data analytics and EHR systems. He has worked on projects like the Assessment of Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis in a tertiary care hospital and Assessment of co-morbidities and drug utilization patterns in Type 2 Diabetes mellitus.
He is a teaching assistant for the B581 – Health Information Standards and Terminology course, which is taught by Dr. Purkayastha in the Spring semesters. He is also a Python programmer, specializing in analyzing health data.
