Madhuri graduated with an MS in Health Informatics in May 2024.
Madhuri Kokkalakonda is a graduate student in Health Informatics at IUPUI, holding a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from JNTU in Hyderabad, India. She interned at Regenstrief Institute, Inc., contributing to the Open Health Information Exchange project as part of the global health informatics team. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Madhuri has made significant contributions to key projects focused on developing and enhancing mobile health apps, managing extensive datasets, and developing open-source Electronic Health Records (EHR) for educational purposes. These experiences have honed her skills in data management, data analysis, project management, and system administration, while also giving her deep insights into healthcare technology.
Her research interests include data analytics, healthcare cybersecurity, data visualization, EHR development, data engineering, and machine learning, positioning her as a promising professional in health informatics.
