Geetha Priya Padmanaban

Geetha Priya Padmanaban completed an MS in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University.

My passion lies in bridging human factors and technologies to solve inter-wined social problems. In the past, I worked on building user interfaces for mission-critical products in healthcare and financial domains. During her coursework, she developed a deep interest in client-facing roles while interacting with the UX community. The puzzling and diverse aspects of designing solutions have lured me to dive into HCI.

Currently, she works as a “Graduate Ambassador” and also as a “User Experience Designer” with Dr. Saptarshi Purkayastha” for an NSF-funded research project. In the past, she worked with Prof. Mark Larew for the I-300 Human-Computer Interaction course, which focuses on the usability aspects of the product.

Apart from academics, she loves sketching, traveling, and doing adventure activities. She fights for causes such as healthcare, awareness, education, and often engages herself by volunteering in a community that supports these causes.
